It's delicious one of the best hotpot places I've been to. The ambiance is great, and it's definitely worth the price.

Went on a Saturday evening and the wait was about 45 minutes - 1 hour for our party of 6. The pork bone broth & their premium spicy beef tallow broth was delicious! We had our spice level set at medium since some party members couldn't handle too much spice, but it was still very flavorful & gave a nice kick. Service was good, despite how busy it was for the night, our server did a good job delivering our orders.

Speedy and great service. Meats taste great and they always ensure you have enough broth. Only waited maybe 5min from order to delivery of beef on a Saturday

I been coming to this place since opening. The food and service are the best in town. Price is fair and there are a lot fruit and appetizers for free too. Highly recommend

Very good food, delicious!! We ate here on Christmas Day, my dad and wife both like it here, all the food

Very delicious and authentic Sichuan Hotpot! Good service! Prices are quite reasonable.

My friend and I decided to try this new Ramen spot in Chinatown (Mensho). However, when I arrived the hostess informed me that it will be an hour & 45 minute wait which is ridiculously long considering it's been opened for a month & 2 weeks already. I was already waiting for 30 mins and didn't see the line progressing. So we just went next door to this spot. I was relived to see it wasn't that busy but it did pick up once we started eating. Our server attended to us right away & explained the menu. While he was friendly & helpful I honestly felt a little rushed from him, but nonetheless he did his job. So the AYCE for dinner is 28.99, which isn't bad but what's crazy is that you have to order the broth as well; and that's another 13.95. Who is going to a hot pot restaurant & not get the broth? You might as well just say $43 AYCE. A little deceiving but hey what can you do about it. They have several dishes on the menu that's not included with the AYCE, so those items are at an extra charge. Sauce station is labeled with a fair amount to choose from. They also have ice cream & fruits for desserts. We decided to order two broths; Tom Yum Soup & Pork Bone Broth. The Tom yum broth was bursting with flavor & it packed some heat to it. I was expecting a little more lemongrass but it was still a delicious broth. All the meats/veggies/noodles we got were pretty good especially the snowflake slice beef. It was nicely marbled, tendered and fresh. There was one item I ordered & I can't recall the name but it was vile. Other than that, everything else was good. Overall, the service was good & quick, the food was solid & the ambiance is cool. Will I come back? Yes

I personally think this is the best hotpot place in town (other than haidilou for sure. But in terms of price value ratio, this is definitely better). The place has a lot of tables and the staff is very efficient, so I think the place turns table fairly quickly and I don't think we've ever waited for too long even on weekends. There isn't really an area for waiting, but they have snacks and cotton candy for waitlisted customers. Very typical AYCE Chinese style hotpot. The soup flavors are very on point and I like the ingredient options for the dipping sauces. Lius House Spicy Soup Base with beef tallow is very good, but the vegetable oil alternative is also pretty good in my opinion. The Chicken Soup with Fish Maw is also very tasty if you're looking for a non-spicy option. Another thing is their portion is not consistent, so after initial round of orders, if you want more I would do 2-3 plate orders at a time. (P.S. For anyone looking for Chinese style hot pot dipping sauce recipe - I always some variation of: minced garlic + chopped pickled Thai chili + sesame sauce and / or peanut sauce + sesame oil + shacha/ XO sauce + tiny bit of Chinese fermented bean curd + light soy sauce + dark vinegar + a dash of sugar + shit ton of cilantro. I usually skip the scallion, I think it gives a bit of a weird filmy after-texture on my teeth. )
